Team Captain claims Harry Maguire's replacement is a major loss to Napoli

If a deal is reached for Kim Min-Jae, a defender for Napoli, Manchester United would be acquiring a defensive captain.

Giuseppe Bruscolotti, a former captain of Napoli, concurred, telling Casa Napoli that the South Korean international's organizational skills are impressive.

According to Goal, Kim Min-Jae's contract contains a £42 million release clause that may be triggered in the summer, and Manchester United is reportedly interested in signing him.

Bruscolotti, who wants to stay at Napoli, has bemoaned that if he left, United would be getting a top defender as well as a leader.

"Without him Napoli would lose a defensive organization because he is also very good at helping his teammates. Despite his very young age, he looks like an already established champion," Bruscolotti toldtold Casa Napoli

“Unfortunately today it’s this, clauses and counter clauses and if an interested club comes along, they’ll take him. If the president has drawn up a line of engagements and elsewhere they offer him more, how can you keep the players.”

Harry Maguire is anticipated to quit Manchester United, therefore Kim-Min Jae would join the team in his place.

Only seven Premier League games have seen Maguire start for United this year, and none have done so since April 16.

The former Leicester defender, who currently wears the captain's armband, is a 'leader' at United in theory. Even though he hasn't consistently chosen Maguire, Erik ten Hag has always praised his leadership.

You would think that Min-Jae has superior organizational and leadership skills, and the risk seems to be worthwhile given that Maguire is a player he is reluctant to employ.
