Predicted Man United's starting eleven against Sevilla as Marcus Rashford and others return

Marcus Rashford, Manchester United's leading scorer, has resumed training in advance of the team's Europa League quarterfinal second leg matchup against Sevilla.

Marcus Rashford missed the Red Devils' victory over Everton earlier this month due to a groin ailment.

United's leading scorer has returned to training just 11 days after suffering the injury, which had been anticipated to keep him out of action for a few weeks.

Rashford, who has scored 28 goals so far this season, was anticipated to miss both the FA Cup semifinal against Brighton and the matchup with Sevilla in the Europa League.

The possibility that the attacker will play in the second leg against Sevilla increases with his return to training.

Erik ten Hag would benefit greatly from Rashford's availability given that the forward has 20 goals in 28 games since the World Cup.

This season, the 25-year-old has mostly carried the scoring load, with Bruno Fernandes being the only other Man United player to reach double digits.

Additionally enhancing Ten Hag's possibilities in training were Luke Shaw and Marcel Sabitzer. Shaw missed the previous three games after suffering a leg problem against Brentford in April.

Sabitzer was forced to leave Man United's 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Sunday due to an injury he sustained during warm-ups.

Christian Eriksen, who had been out with an ankle injury, took the Austrian's place and made his first start since returning.

The first leg of the Red Devils' Europa League quarterfinal tie against Sevilla last Thursday saw Marcel Sabitzer score both of the team's goals.

To build on their Carabao Cup victory earlier this season, Ten Hag's team will look to defeat the Spanish team in the away leg on Thursday before taking on Brighton in the FA Cup semifinal on Sunday.

Man United still has a lot of problems. Raphael Varane's fitness is in question after he was substituted against Sevilla, while Lisandro Martinez's season-long metatarsal injury has been ruled out.

Manchester United's predicted starting eleven against Sevilla

Defense

David De Gea kept a clean sheet once more over the weekend and is in terrific shape. Wan Bissaka forced his way back into Ten Hag's plans, but he could need to provide more in attack.

Harry Maguire Having a difficult afternoon in Nottingham, I'll lead the team on Thursday. However, Victor Lindelof has typically performed well in this campaign.

If Shaw and Malacia remain out, Dalot is likely to start at left-back.

Mid field

Casemiro has returned from his recent suspension issues and will have a big role to play at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium, while Christian Eriksen will be bringing his brilliance to the team having made his first start since January last weekend. With Ten Hag short of options, Fred could be pushed higher up.

Attack

Antony was outstanding versus Forest and has this season scored some significant goals in the Europa League. Jadon Sancho has started the last four and Ten Hag is beginning to rely on Sancho more often. Despite his recent injury difficulties, Anthony Martial should be fine to start even though he is unlikely to play 90 minutes.
