Manchester United is constantly searching for the brightest prospects to join their outstanding academy.
Two United scouts reportedly watched the 15-year-old forward play on Monday, according to Football Insider.
According to sources speaking to Football Insider, Manchester United dispatched two senior scouts to watch Birmingham City sensation Trevan Sanusi on Monday night.
The Premier League elite are keeping an eye on the 15-year-old center forward after he turned down scholarship offers from Championship clubs.
Sanusi, who turns 16 next week, intends to leave Birmingham. United, who intends to make a bid for the growing star in the coming weeks after being greatly impressed by his exploits, has been made aware of Sanusi's contract rejection.
The teenager, who has represented England at the Under-16 and Under-15 levels, is thought to be being pursued by London powerhouses Chelsea and Arsenal.
Sanusi is the subject of intense pressure from Chelsea, who hope to outbid other teams for his services.
Scouts from Premier League teams have kept a careful eye on the youngster during youth team games, and they have given their hiring departments nothing but positive feedback.
Sanusi is a dynamic forward who can play either out wide or in the center of the attack. Numerous teams see the Birmingham prospect as a potential star because of how prolific a scorer and creator he has been for his age group level.
Eric Baily set for Man United's return
According to sources, Olympique Marseille will not use the buy option to sign Eric Bailly, who is on loan from Manchester, to a long-term contract.
The 29-year-old's future is now in question because it is quite improbable that he will make Erik ten Hag's starting lineup the next year.
Eric Bailly's contract at Man Utd expires in 2024, but if he wants to play regularly, he will have to move on from Old Trafford.
Fabrizio Romano, a transfer analyst, has stated that the defender will return to England at the conclusion of the current campaign.
“Understand Olympique Marseille will not trigger the buy option to sign Eric Bailly on a permanent deal — he will return to Manchester United."
“Been told Bailly will be available on the market as Man United are prepared to let him go.”
It's obvious that Bailly's performances this season haven't impressed Marseille, thus it seems unlikely that he will be able to surpass players like Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez at Manchester United.
Although Jose Mourinho paid Bailly £30 million to join Manchester United, he hasn't exactly lived up to the hype there.
The Ivorian has played 113 times for the Red Devils overall, but since Mourinho left in 2018, no new manager has been particularly impressed with him. Under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and Ralf Rangnick, Bailly played a total of 217 minutes in the Premier League; nonetheless, players like Harry Maguire and Victor Lindelof rose above him in the standings.
In order for him to attempt and regain some form, Ten Hag eventually chose to loan him out to Marseille last summer. However, the center-back has once again let him down.
Eric Bailly has only started three league games for the French club this year. In addition, he received a seven-game suspension for a terrible tackle he made against Hyeres in a French Cup match. Moussa N'Diaye was hospitalized after Bailly slammed his studs into his ribs.
Given Bailly's poor performance, it comes as no real surprise that Manchester United are trying to sell him this summer. Marseille's refusal to sign him for for £5 million also says a lot.
In light of this, the Ivory Coast international might be available this summer on a discounted deal as the Red Devils try to get him off their books.
The issue is that it's unlikely any club will be ready to take a chance on Bailly given that he is reportedly earning £80,000 per week at Manchester United.
Axel Disasi rejects West Ham move
Manchester United and the AS Monaco defender have been heavily connected, with sources claiming the Reds might pay €40 million to acquire the 25-year-old this summer.
Another Premier League suitor has expressed interest in the situation, but the France international might have other plans.
According to Sport Witness, French writer Ignazio Genuardi revealed West Ham's interest on Tuesday via Twitter.
The tall center-back is being 'watched extremely closely' by West Ham, who have reportedly made trips to see him'several times' in recent months, according to Genuardi.
The France international, though, has plans to join a bigger club in the summer, which is a setback for West Ham because they are aware of David Moyes' affection.
Axel Disasi and his agents will take caution not to reject any proposals too quickly. An impulsive decision can force them to close doors they don't want to yet.
Even while his statistics at center-back are, to put it mildly, remarkable, there is no guarantee that United will knock. In 42 games for Monaco this season, Disasi has six goals and four assists.
In the event that either Harry Maguire or Victor Lindelof decide to depart at the end of the season, Disasi might step in as a substitute.
