Chelsea and United monitoring Axel Disasi's Monaco situation as Harry Kane's pursuit hit rock bottom

Chelsea and Manchester United are reportedly keeping an eye on Axel Disasi in case he leaves AS Monaco this summer.
According to a report from 90min, Chelsea and Manchester United are keeping tabs on the 25-year-old French international and may try to sign him during the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old has made a name for himself as one of the top defenders in the French league and also competes for his country's national team. The two Premier League clubs may find Disasi to be a fantastic long-term investment given his bright potential. Manchester City has him on their radar as well.

Thiago Silva must be adequately replaced at Chelsea for the long term, and the Frenchman would be a great addition. In addition to his defensive prowess, Disasi has made an impression at the French club with his leadership abilities. He might be the best choice to take Silva's spot at Stamford Bridge.

He will also be a good addition for Manchester United for comparable reasons. The Red Devils could lose Victor Lindelof, and Harry Maguire during the summer transfer window. The two players are no longer assured starting spots for the Premier League club because they have fallen in the Old Trafford hierarchy.

At this point in their careers, the two players require consistent playing time, which is just not doable at Manchester United. When the two players move on, Erik ten Hag will need to bring in top-notch replacements, and Disasi would be a great choice.

The 25-year-old is approaching his prime, and if the Premier League clubs can get him, he might play his greatest football for them. With their combined financial resources, the two clubs could easily complete the trade and persuade Monaco to part with their star player.

Disasi would thrive in the Premier League and is expected to be the cornerstone of the French national team defense for years to come.

Manchester United hits rock bottom in Harry Kane's pursuit

England international Harry Kane, is willing to wait for a new deal with Tottenham Hotspur, despite Manchester United's interest, Harry Kane is prepared to wait before agreeing to a new contract with Tottenham Hotspur, according to 90min (h/t Manchester Evening News).

The present contract of the England international with the North London club will end in the summer of 2024 (transfermarkt). The 29-year-old is prepared to wait to make a decision about his future until Spurs name their next permanent manager, though.

Harry Kane is taking his time deciding what he will do at the end of the current season. Until they appoint a new head coach, Tottenham is also willing to give the striker some breathing room.

Once the North London team has a new manager in charge in the dugout, the English captain will reevaluate his position. Along with the Red Devils, the forward is currently being watched by Bayern Munich, a powerhouse in the Bundesliga.

The 29-year-old has made a name for himself as one of the top number nines in the world over the years. Season after season, the striker has led the Lilywhites' offense.

Kane has not, however, been able to win any awards while playing for Tottenham. A new manager won't necessarily help Spurs break their 15-year trophy drought, either.

In the current season, Erik ten Hag has been forced to rely on Anthony Martial and Wout Weghorst up front. The French national, though, has missed the majority of the season's action.

The Burnley loanee, on the other hand, has performed poorly as our striker. Despite his efforts, it appears that the Holland international falls short of the Red Devils' expectations.

Therefore, it is obvious that we need to bolster our attack next summer. The sooner Kane makes a decision, the better. The Old Trafford team does not need to wait for anyone as the England international approaches the end of his golden years.
