Anthony Martial set to join Victor Lindelof as Inter Milan shows interest amid transfer fees increment

After learning that the same club was interested in another of their players, Man Utd fixed their price for Anthony Martial, according to a report by Teamtalk.

Unless Manchester United exercise an option to extend his contract by a further 12 months, Anthony Martial's deal with the club is about to expire. He has only made six Premier League starts this season due to recurring injury.

Adding a fresh target man up front will be one of Manchester United's top targets in the upcoming transfer window. Martial runs the risk of slipping even further down the hierarchy in light of this.

It may perhaps be time for him to depart Manchester United after eight seasons. Additionally, he might be in route to Inter Milan, per an Italian report.

The Serie A team has reportedly taken notice of the France international, according to Inter Live. Man Utd would be seeking a transfer price in the neighborhood of €20 million (£17.6 million) in order for the deal to go through. Inter has already been considering the marginal Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof, who would cost €15 million (£13.2 million).

Victor Lindelof is also bound to Manchester United until 2024, with another one-year option. This season, he has made just five Premier League starts. At center back, Erik ten Hag has favored using Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane. Lindelof is therefore thinking about his future.

Anthony Martial and Victor Lindelof might still be teammates the next season, but they'll be playing for Inter rather than Manchester United.

The Inter Milan squad has spots available for Martial and Lindelof. The future of former Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku, who is presently on loan from Chelsea, is being discussed by the Nerazzurri in the attack. Additionally, Edin Dzeko, a former forward for Manchester City, will have his contract expire at the end of the year.

At the back, Milan Skriniar's contract is scheduled to expire, and the Seria A giants could lose him for free. Another player approaching free agency is Stefan de Vrij.

They should be looking at targets in either position, for this reason. Players with decent enough pedigree like Martial and Lindelof, who are 27 and 28 years old, might become available.

Man Utd believes the pair's asking price of €35 million (£30.7 million) is fair. Both of the Inter targets are useful players with lots of time left in their individual careers, despite none of them being a regular starter this year.

Both Anthony Martial and Victor Lindelof have played outside of Italy, but neither has ever competed in Serie A. Therefore, if finances permit, they might find the Inter project to be an alluring one to join.

There, they may connect with Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Matteo Darmian, two former Manchester United teammates.
