(Video) Man United's potential buyers visits Old Trafford for asset evaluation amid fans protest outside Carrington training center

Manchester United's takeover saga has continued, with Qatari representatives having visited Old Trafford earlier this week to take a look around the facilities before deciding on whether to continue their bidding war with their competitors.

On Friday, another bidder, the British richest man, Sir Jim Ratcliffe and his INEOS entourage, arrived for a tour around Old Trafford as well. Although there have been no updates regarding any reactions yet from their visit, Erik Ten Hag confirmed he met and shook hands with the aspiring new owners during his Friday afternoon press conference.

“I just met them." We shake hands, but I’m focused on the game. We play a big game on Sunday against Fulham, and all of our focus is on that. Others in the club are dealing with the potential investors.

The manager was, however, quick to dismiss further discussions regarding Sir Jim Ratcliffe and the INEOS relegation visit.

"No, my job in this moment is to focus on the game, so let’s talk about the game." "It's a big tie, and we have to get ready for it," he said.

While the Qatari representatives visited Old Trafford during the week, fans staged a protest outside the club's training center at Carrington, calling for the full sale of the club by the Glazer family.

News emerging after the Qataris representatives visited Old Trafford claimed that "The Qataris were initially concerned about the price of Manchester United, but after yesterday’s meeting they want the club at all costs.

They are now willing to OVERPAY to buy."

Other rumors are claiming that a second bid has been made for Manchester United by the Qatar Investors, and Sheikh Jassim's new offer is expected to approach £6 billion. One report however claimed that Sheikh Jassim is unwilling to overpay as Manchester United would require heavy investments, which would come in the form of upgrading Old Trafford and the Carrington training center, as well as building a team capable of consistently challenging for the Premier League and Champions League titles.

Man United potential buyer Sir Jim Ratcliffe met Richard Arnold on Friday morning at Old Trafford ahead of a potential takeover.  Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS arrived at Old Trafford this morning for the evaluation of the assets, as Ratcliffe does not want to overpay for the club after qualifying for the 2nd round of the buying process.
