"Nobody does it better"- Ruben Neves and Wolverhampton hits out at Marcus Rashford over new celebration

Ruben Neves doesn't seem to be following the trend that Marcus Rashford has started with his new celebration. The Wolves midfielder believes it was actually his own idea. Ruben Neves made it seem as though he was claiming ownership of his distinctive celebration and wasn't imitating Marcus Rashford of Manchester United.

The 25-year-old Wolves midfielder scored the game-winning goal in his team's dramatic 3-0 triumph over a directionless Liverpool.Ruben Neves has appeared to imply that the move was his own and not the English striker's by imitating the action that Rashford now makes after scoring, as seen in Manchester United's thrilling 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace at the same time on Saturday.

The Portuguese maestro, who had made the identical motion for years before Rashford did, appeared to be informing fans that the celebration was his first by pointing one hand to his head and the other to his breast. Neves' message was captured in a video that a Wolves supporter uploaded to social media. The club's official Twitter account also tweeted, "Nobody does it better," along with a winking face emoji.

Luckily for Neves and Rashford, they each had productive days at work on Saturday. After being reduced to 10 men due to Casemiro's red card, Rashford scored United's crucial second goal to give them all three points at home against Palace, while Neves led Wolves to a memorable victory against an ineffective Liverpool.

After just 12 minutes, the Molineux team had a 2-0 lead thanks to an own goal from Joel Matip and a score on his professional debut from defender Craig Dawson. From that point on, Wolves had an easy time of it, and Neves added to the Reds' woes in the 71st minute with a rare goal from inside the penalty area.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp wasn't so impressed, as he watched his side unable to reply Julen Lopetegui's side goals at Molinuex stadium.

"The third goal I don't count because it was the first time they passed the halfway line in the second half. The other two goals, going into a game with all the things we said during the week and before the game then this is the start is horrible," the German stated after the game.

Ruben Neves was on Manchester United's radar during the summer transfer window but the Red Devils eventually settled for Christian Eriksen after the Midland club turned down their transfer proposal for the 25 year old multiple times.
