Man United holds internal talks with Brighton Albion's mid fielder Mac Allister over potential summer transfer move

Sports Mole has alleged that Manchester United have opened internal talks with Brighton midfielder and World Cup winner Alexis MacAllister over a potential summer transfer move.

Alexis Mac Allister has caught the attention of European elites. Manchester United and Arsenal have reportedly joined Manchester City, Atletico Madrid, Liverpool, and Juventus in the bid to sign the 24-year-old.

The midfielder was among the breakout stars of the 2022 World Cup tournament in Qatar, as he went on to lift the prestigious trophy with the Argentina national team. Alexis Mac Allister's game has improved drastically, and he has been a major player for Brighton Albion while making two goal contributions across his six starts at the World Cup with Argentina's national team.

At Brighton Albion, under Roberto De Zerbi, he has made 23 appearances, scoring eight times as himself and his teammates mount a top-five challenge in the Premier League.

Caught offside  Journalist Ben Jacobs has claimed that Man United have internally discussed a summer transfer move for the 24 year old boy and added that Chelsea, Manchester City, and Liverpool are as well monitoring the player's situation at Ammex Stadium.

Ben Jacobs believes that Alexis Mac Allister will only join a club that would guarantee him regular Champions League qualification, as that is his major priority, before stating that the player would cost over £60 million to lure him away from Brighton Albion.

The World Cup winner joined Brighton Albion from Argentinos Juniors back in 2019 for a transfer fee of around £6.9 million. He has garnered 95 appearances across all competitions, scoring eight goals and assisting seven more. The midfielder, whose contract at Ammex Stadium runs until 2025, earlier this year stated he was in no rush to leave Brighton Albion.

"I feel really good with this club, my teammates, and everyone who works here," Mac Allister told BBC Radio Sussex. "I try not to read too much.  I always say I am really happy here, and I don't have any rush to leave. "I am focused on the next game with this club."

The Argentine's father has however admitted that there are chances the 24-year-old will exit the club next summer but claimed he is very happy at Brighton Albion.

"For now, he is in Brighton. "It seems to me a very good thing that he has returned from the World Cup and has not despaired of leaving," Carlos Mac Allister told TyCSports.

"He is enjoying success calmly and in peace with a team that loves him very much." The reception he received has been positive. He is very happy at the club."

"We all know that in July there will be chances to leave." But prior to the World Cup, Alexis renewed his contract so that the club also has the opportunity to make a big sale and that many can reach out to Brighton. That's the idea."
