Man United reportedly eyes Bundesliga mid fielder and Asian star Daichi Kamada

Manchester United are reportedly trying to persuade Eintracht Frankfurt's midfielder, Daichi Kamada, to join the Premier League giants instead of Borussia Dortmund. However, according to The Daily Mail, the 20-time Premier League Champions will have to challenge rival Chelsea for the Asian star's signature.

Adrian Kajumba and Sami Mokbel report, “Dortmund are hoping to beat their Premier League rivals to Eintracht Frankfurt’s Japanese midfielder Daichi Kamada.”

“Kamada, 26 years old, will be a free agent this summer and is understood to have a verbal agreement with Dortmund.”

“However, a number of clubs, including United and Chelsea, have not given up hope of persuading him to change his mind and move to England instead.”

The people's person claims that Daichi Kamada is Borussia Dortmund's direct replacement for England international Jude Bellingham, who could exit the club next summer in a mega deal.

Manchester United are among the list of elite clubs across Europe that are contesting for the 19-year-old's signature. However, Liverpool appears to be the favorites to land the former Birmingham City star. Manchester City and La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid are reportedly monitoring the player's situation as well.

Liverpool have been allegedly told that a Champions League qualification is among the player's requirements for a decision on his future. According to ESPN's Rob Dawson, the 19-year-old is also on Erik Ten Hag's wishlist, along with Barcelona's Frenkie De Jong.

Reports from within Old Trafford claim that the recruitment team is finding it hard to convince Jude Bellingham or Frenkie De Jong to join the project at Manchester United due to the huge expenditures involved in their transfer fees and enormous wage demands.

However, Jude Bellingham is reportedly not yet in agreement with Borussia Dortmund's management to pen a new deal and could exit the club next summer transfer window.

Daichi Kamada is a Japanese 26 year old mid fielder who plays for Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt.
