Team news: As Man United's new signing trains ahead of Crystal Palace Old Trafford visit

Manchester United will host Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday at 15:00 GMT. The North London club will visit Old Trafford while aiming to cause another heartbreak for Erik Ten Hag's men.

Erik Ten Hag's men got a disappointing 1-1 draw against Crystal Palace when they traveled to Selhurst Park last month. Michael Olise's late free kick ensured Manchester United left London with just one point and their nine-game winning streak halted.

Manchester United welcomed Jadon Sancho and Anthony Martial back to the team during the week. as the two attackers made a cameo during Manchester United's 2-0 victory at home in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-finals tie with Nottingham Forest. The victory means Erik Ten Hag's side are heading to Wembley to play Newcastle United on a 5-0 aggregate.

Scott McTominay is out for two weeks due to injury, while Diogo Dalot has made positive progress as he resumed training on Thursday. Marcel Sabitzer also trained with his new teammates.

Team manager Erik Ten Hag couldn't hide his excitement following some of the players' return to training. With the hectic schedule of games awaiting for the month, the 53-year-old hopes to get his squad to its fullest strength.

"I think I could do that for future games coming up," he told ManUtd.com. "To bring them in but also to rest the others because we need the energy everywhere, but definitely the forward line is where we want to score goals."

“The problem is they are not always available, until now," he stated.

"We made a lot of compromises during the season so far. So, hopefully, we come to a point where everyone is available, and to win trophies, they have to be available because you need them all because you have so many games to cover."

"And also, you see tonight [Wednesday], you can do something from the bench and you can bring in a different dynamic from the bench," he explained.

Scott McTominay, Christian Eriksen, and Donny Van De Beek are all expected to miss the clash on Saturday afternoon due to injury. Donny Van De Beek is expected to return at the end of the season.

Crystal Palace loanee Jack Butland is expected to miss the clash due to the Premier League's regulations.

Prior to the game, Crystal Palace manager Patrick Vieira will have to deal with a number of injury concerns, including the hamstring issue former Red Wilfried Zaha is experiencing.

James McArthur and Nathan Ferguson may also continue to be out, as has Danish center-back Joachim Andersen, who was absent for our game at Selhurst Park.

Both the permanent arrival from Stuttgart, Naouirou Ahamada, and the new loan signing from Arsenal, Albert Sambi Lokonga, are expected to make their debuts soon.
