Manchester United have been confirmed to have completed a deal for 16-year-old Cardiff City striker Gabriele Briancheri. According to transfer journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Red Devils are waiting for FIFA's approval to finalize a four-year contract with the Welsh star.

"There's a long way to go, with him only being 16," he told Tribal Football.
"Goals are brilliant for him, and his two against Bristol City to win us the game earned that call up to the U21s, and when he had his 45 minutes for them, I was really impressed."
Gabriele Briancheri has represented Wales' Under-17 side, and he is set to make a bold step in his career with a move to Old Trafford.
As confined by Fabrizio Romano on his social media account, Erik Ten Hag's side will complete the signing of the youngster after he passes his medical.
"Manchester United are set to complete the signing of young talent, 2006-born striker Gabriele Biancheri from Cardiff City.
"Understand its four-year pro contract is now complete; we are just waiting for FIFA approval to finalize the deal," Fabrizio Romano wrote.
It is anticipated that Gabriele Briancheri will be offered a scholar contract when he signs with Manchester United, but he will be given a professional contract in September, when he celebrates his 17th birthday.
