Manchester United's transfer target Kolo Muani has indicated where he would love to continue his football career amid speculations of him leaving Bundesliga side Frankfurt.
The 24-year-old France international spoke about his expectations from clubs who are interested in signing him, as these would help him decide which club to join when he leaves the German side.
Kolo Muani is set to be a major transfer alternative for Erik Ten Hag's Manchester United if the chase for Harry Kane becomes futile. Kolo Muani will join a top European club during the summer, as his 40 goals in 46 games are really hard to resist.
Manchester United faces competition from Paris Saint-Germain for the 2022 World Cup finalist, and the 24-year-old is delighted with news linking him with a move to England and Manchester United.
Speaking on Canal Football Club, the 24-year-old said: "It’s flattering that PSG are interested in you, like all the other big clubs. It’s not just because you come from the Parisian region and grow up there that you should automatically play for PSG.”
Muani added: "Honestly, who doesn’t dream of playing in the Premier League? It’s one of the best leagues that exists. You dream about it. These are childhood dreams. But I’m not searching for the perfect club or the best club in the world. I’m really looking for the club that will give me the chance to be able to express myself, to earn game time, and most importantly, to grow."
Prior to the window opening later this month, Krosche has acknowledged that they have not yet received any formal bids for his signature and that they will not be compelled to let him go. Frankfurt will, however, consider proposals if they are compelling enough.
Krosche, speaking to FAZ.NET, said: "There may already be one or two interested parties. But so far there has been no one who has approached us, it is all speculation so far. We don't have to sell him."
"Sure, we also have to work out transfer fees – but we don't have our backs to the wall. On the contrary, we have built up a good economic starting position thanks to our successes after coronavirus."
"At some point, sums will be on the table that it would be irresponsible not to think about. I'm not putting him on the market, and I don't want to transfer him."
"My goal is that Randal stays with us."
Kolo Muani played in Frankfurt's 2-0 loss in the DFB Pokal final against RB Leipzig. He was unable to help his side prevent their loss.
However, Manchester United are still closely monitoring the likes of Napoli's Victor Oshimen, SL Benfica's Goncalo Ramos, and Atalanta's Rasmus Hojlund, and are still hoping Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane will exit the North London club, but will have to rival Real Madrid for the 30-year-old.
Meanwhile, the Red Devils have reportedly held talks with Atlanta's star Rasmus Hojlund and reached personal terms with Chelsea ace Mason Mount.
Manchester United are reportedly in the race to sign 26-year-old Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat in the approaching summer transfer window.
The Fiorentina midfielder attracted top clubs attention following his display at the World Cup with the Moroccan national team.
Football talk claimed that the player's camp was already in advanced talks with Barcelona, but the Seria A outfit didn't allow the deal to go through as they didn't want their man leaving mid-season. However, he is not expected to leave next summer, as he has entered the last phase of his contract at Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Also, there are no plans for him to extend his contract; it was stated that Fiorentina will have no choice but to sanction his sale in the coming weeks if there is no contract extension in order not to lose him for free.
According to Spanish outlet Sport, Barcelona are preparing to reignite their interest in the 26-year-old in the coming summer transfer window, but the Spotify Nou Camp outfit's financial constraints could be a stumbling block for any major move. The outlet also reported that Erik Ten Hag's Manchester United are already making efforts to take advantage of the situation, with a first move already made and plans to accelerate their efforts to bring the 2022 World Cup semi-finalist to Old Trafford being made.
Yet still, Manchester United will have to face competition from arch-rivals Liverpool for the 26-year-old's signature. Liverpool as well have their eyes on a number of Man United's transfer targets, namely Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch, as they bid to revamp their squad ahead of next season.
Transfermarkt values Sofyan Amrabat at £22 million. The Moroccan is a player who is willing to play with or without the ball. His versatility shows in that he can play as a defensive midfielder, in a box-to-box role and still possess excellent passing skills in his arsenal.
Sofyan Amrabat is a great acquisition for Manchester United if the Old Trafford club successfully brings him to the Premier League.
