Atalanta names Rasmus Hojlund's price as Frankfurt makes stance clear on Kolo Muani's transfer

According to rumors, Rasmus Hojlund will cost Manchester United about £52 million to acquire.

As they attempt to build on the advancements Erik ten Hag has achieved in his first season as manager, United is ready for another exciting but pricey summer. A new striker is the top objective. In the top 10, only Aston Villa and Fulham scored less goals than Manchester United, with Marcus Rashford bearing the lion's share of the scoring responsibility.

Harry Kane was Ten Hag's main priority since he wanted to add more firepower, but United is now operating under the idea that Tottenham will not be willing to part with their talisman despite the fact that he is in the final year of his contract.

After a breakthrough season, Hojlund is considered one of Europe's most intriguing young strikers and has already drawn parallels to Erling Haaland. He scored five goals in his first two international games and has 15 goals in Italy this season.

According to reports from the previous day, Ten Hag had numerous video chats with Hojlund, 20, and the latter had been designated as an approachable target. According to sources, the Dutchman's agent SEG International is also reportedly pursuing Hojlund as a client.

Hojlund will set United back €60 million (about £52 million), according to Football Insider. In addition, Atalanta wants to quickly recoup the £15 million they spent on the striker a year ago.

United is preparing to make a proposal for Moussa Diaby, who is wanted by Real Madrid, elsewhere. According to Fichajes' ongoing reports, that is.

The 23-year-old forward for Bayer Leverkusen is the subject of growing rumors. After Diaby's nine goals and nine assists in the Bundesliga this season, Real has been linked to a bid for him.

The article does, however, claim that they are up against United, who see the Frenchman as a potential Anthony Martial successor.

Markus Krosche, the director of football at Eintracht Frankfurt, has reaffirmed that the German team is not in a position where it has sell Randal Kolo Muani, who is a target for Manchester United, this summer.

The Reds are keeping an eye on the striker before the transfer season officially opens as they continue to make plans to improve their attacking options. Kolo Muani is one of the most sought-after goal scorers in Europe after tallying 23 goals in 45 games for Frankfurt this season.

Following the expiration of his contract with the French club Nantes, Kolo Muani moved to the Bundesliga team from Nantes on a free transfer last summer. He had a standout first season in Germany, highlighted by an amazing goal total.

Kolo Muani, a member of the France team that advanced to the Qatar 2022 World Cup final, has also contributed with 17 assists this season, giving him a direct involvement in 40 goals in only 45 games. Given his remarkable stats, it is not surprising that United and other teams are keeping an eye on him.

Prior to the window opening later this month, Krosche has acknowledged that they have not yet received any formal bids for his signature and that they will not be compelled to let him go. Frankfurt will, however, consider proposals if they are compelling enough.

Krosche, speaking to FAZ.NET, said: "There may already be one or two interested parties. But so far there has been no one who has approached us, it is all speculation so far. We don't have to sell him."

"Sure, we also have to work out transfer fees – but we don't have our backs to the wall. On the contrary, we have built up a good economic starting position thanks to our successes after coronavirus."

"At some point, sums will be on the table that it would be irresponsible not to think about. I'm not putting him on the market, and I don't want to transfer him."

"My goal is that Randal stays with us."
