Review: Top Transfer News you might have missed in the last few days

With the 2022/2023 campaign closer to it's ending, transfer speculations are beginning to intensify with club's recruitment team now delving into the transfer market in a bid to bring in new players to replace or bloster their various squads.

Here are some transfer rumors related to Manchester United for the week

According to reports, Manchester United will compete with Chelsea for the summer transfer of Juventus forward Dusan Vlahovic.

Vlahovic may choose Manchester United over Chelsea because, according to Football Transfers, the Serbian would want to join a Champions League team.

Vlahovic hasn't exactly been at his best for Juventus, but it seems he still won't come cheap, as the rumor states that Manchester United will try to entice him away from the Serie A giants with an offer of roughly €70 million.

Vlahovic previously appeared to be a great young talent when at Fiorentina, despite his difficulties at Juve, and United will undoubtedly feel it's worth taking a chance on him again and seeing if they can get him back to his best.

After relying too much on Marcus Rashford for goals for the majority of the season and failing to make an impression with players like Anthony Martial and loanee Wout Weghorst, Erik ten Hag needs to make changes up front this summer.

Chelsea too has a critical need for additional goals, but it appears that their lack of European football will disadvantage them in this situation.

Manchester United tracking Youri Tielemans

As Erik ten Hag tries to strengthen his midfield during the upcoming season, Manchester United is keeping an eye on Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans.

Christian Eriksen's injury in January caused the Red Devils to struggle, and they might use another playmaker.

Next season, United will aim to compete on several fronts, and a player like that would enable Erik ten Hag to rotate and lessen the consequences of tiredness.

Tielemans might be the right choice because of his excellent passing ability and high technical level, and according to Rudy Galetti, Man United is one of many teams showing interest in the Belgian.

“We can see that Arsenal are always interested in Tielemans,” the journalist told GiveMeSport.

“Even if at the moment we can no longer consider them treating the race for the Leicester player as a priority."

"Manchester United, Newcastle United and Borussia Dortmund are following with attention the midfielder and they can probably guarantee more game time, especially the German club with the sale of Bellingham in June.”

Tielemans will have a lot of offers to consider due to the heated competition for his signature, but it's unclear whether Man United will be prepared to extend more terms to the Belgian international.

The only genuine function Tielemans could play in Ten Hag's system is to fill in for Eriksen, which is hardly an appealing one for a 26-year-old with hopes to play for his country.

His performances for relegation-dangerous Leicester this year might possibly be interpreted as a warning sign.

Although Youri Tielemans has never been the most energetic or positionally savvy of midfielders, his lack of focus and lack of drive have contributed to the Fox's unexpected defeat throughout this season.

Rasmus Hojlund wants Man United's move

Rasmus Hojlund, a forward who has been linked to Manchester United, has returned to scoring for Atalanta after a difficult stretch.

Rasmus Hojlund is someone Manchester United is interested in acquiring this summer, according to a story from The Times over the weekend.

The Atalanta sensation from Denmark has had a breakout season and really made a splash during the most recent international break when he scored five goals in two games.

The 20-year-old is a rising star who wouldn't demand an exorbitant fee. It would be better to move on from him early this summer than to wait two or three years.

Rasmus Hojlund has struggled more since his attention-grabbing performances during the international break to replicate his goal-scoring form back in Italy.

Before this weekend, he had gone six games without scoring a goal, but he came back with an assist. Hojlund scored his 13th club goal of the year in Atalanta's 3-1 victory over Verona.

Gian Piero Gasperini lauded him after the game, according to Tuttosport, who also discussed the striker's inconsistent season.

"The qualities are all there, at the beginning we had to get to know him but he immediately stood out for his great will to break through," Gian Piero Gasperini stated.

“He did very well after the first stop [part of the season], then he was called up to the national team and too many rumors distracted him, then there was the injury."

“Today’s goal demonstrates his power, if he knows how to improve he can take away great satisfaction. You have to know how to accept his moments, he will mature in all aspects.”

Rasmus Hojlund is a potential star for Manchester United rather than a ready-made one.

He would cost about £40 million, according to The Times, which United might be able to cut down with add-ons and restrictions given how we often work.

Man United set to rival Brighton Albion for Davide Frattesi

Davide Frattesi, an international midfielder for Italy, has been linked to Manchester United.

The 23-year-old is an important member of Sassuolo's first squad, which has raised rumors that Manchester United is interested in signing him.

Frattesi, a center midfielder, might turn out to be a wise investment for the Reds. With acquisitions like Casemiro and Christian Eriksen last summer, Erik ten Hag enhanced the team's midfield. The general consensus among those told is that Ten Hag wants to improve that department this summer.

The Sassuolo forward's seven goals in Serie A this year have sparked rumors that he might move to Old Trafford.

United and Brighton are reportedly interested in signing the Italian international, according to a Football Insider report.

It's thought that the Seagulls will lose box-to-box midfielder Alexis Mac Allister in the summer, so it's not surprising that they would seek out a highly regarded player to perhaps take his place.

Frattesi will have competition from other teams, but Manchester United's likelihood of making the Champions League ought to be enough to convince the youngster to sign with them. Not to mention the football club's size in relation to Brighton.
