'My duo innit'- Fans go wild as Rashford and Lingard's pictures hits Instagram

A former Manchester United fan favorite posted a photo to Instagram featuring 25-year-old Marcus Rashford. The comments area has been a raging success with the two performers' followers.

On Monday, May 15, Jesse Lingard, 30, posted the photo of himself and the United winger to Instagram. Between 2015 and 2022, Lingard, who is currently with Nottingham Forest, played with Rashford. The adaptable offensive midfielder immediately won over the hearts of the crowd.

The snap shows the duo posing whilst rocking vibrant designer clothing. Jesse captioned the post: “They don’t get it coz
they don’t get it 🙆🏽‍♂️”

As devoted supporters burst in the comments, it is evident that Lingard won the hearts of United supporters during his seven-year stint. One user commented: “You cannot just casually drop a pic of you and Marcus and expect me to be okay.” Another user added: “My duo innit🔥❤️”. A third said: “I CAN SEE UNCLE RASHY🔥🙌👏”.

Off the field, the two have long been known to be close friends. After leaving the team, Lingard visited Old Trafford with his new team in a 3-0 victory for the Red Devils. Jesse was not only welcomed by the crowd but also appeared in Rashford's heartfelt Instagram post with the following caption: “More than just a friend, good to see you bro”.

Rashford and Lingard vacationed in Miami while they were coworkers at United. They each represented the three lions throughout the 2018 World Cup, which was possibly their most memorable event off the field. Rashford mentioned in a joint interview for England's Lion's Den that he once chatted with a world-class football player, and Lingard had a hilarious response.

Marcus Rashford revealed he discussed the weather with Brazilian superstar, Neymar, in the tunnel at Wembley. Upon finding out, Lingard exclaimed: “Do not even - no no no no no. The weather? The weather? The weather?” To which Rashford defensively replied: “Yeah?”

Lingard then mocked the United winger, saying: “You alright Neymar? Yeah sunny innit?” This quote has since become an iconic inside joke among English football fans.
