'I admire him'- Erik Ten Hag makes major admission about West Ham's David Moyes

Before today's match between West Ham and Manchester United, Erik Ten Haag has been open in his praise of West Ham manager David Moyes.

The two teams are striving for quite different finishes—Manchester United is trying to make the top four, while the Hammers are trying to avoid relegation.

Despite the fact that the team is in the semifinals of the Europa Conference League, Moyes has received a lot of criticism this season. This is because they aren't currently in the top half of the standings.

Although there have been some bizarre results, the club has recently changed its fortunes. Currently at 34 points, they are likely to stay there.

Ten Haag has taken the time to discuss his rival as the two teams square off in the Premier League.

Ten Hag discussed Moyes' decision to take the position after Sir Alex Ferguson in a statement made prior to the Manchester United vs. West Ham game. He said: “It’s quite clear that when you have to succeed Sir Alex that is a big challenge and a really difficult job to do. He did it and had the bravery to do it, that is why I admire him.”

Being the manager of such a large club requires a lot of bravery. Sadly, Moyes' time at United did not turn out well.

He has unquestionably saved his career with the Hammers despite this. He could yet win a title after getting them into Europe for the past two seasons.

As they haven't been able to repeat their strong performance from last season, there is now concern that Moyes has advanced the team as far as he can. It will be fascinating to watch if Moyes remains with the team the following year.
