Dean Jones makes United- Bayern bidding war claim for strikers as Mac Allister's Brighton exit is confirmed

According to transfer analyst Dean Jones, Manchester United and Bayern Munich could engage in a "battle" for a new striker this summer since both clubs are interested in signing Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen, and Randal Kolo Muani.

The trio has all been in excellent goal-scoring form for their respective clubs this summer, and their skill in front of goal has drawn a lot of interest.

In light of interest in his services from Manchester United and Bayern Munich, Tottenham Hotspur attacker Harry Kane has reportedly decided to delay talks on a new contract in north London until Spurs decide who their next permanent manager will be.

While Manchester United has a deep sense of appreciation for Kane, who is valued at €90 million (£79 million), Bayern Munich sees the 29-year-old as a priority signing this summer. Despite this, Manchester United won't get involved in a bidding battle to get the England international.

The Red Devils are reportedly interested in moving Victor Osimhen from Napoli to Old Trafford in the off-season, but Bayern Munich, Chelsea, and Paris Saint-Germain will be fierce rivals.

The two European powerhouses are reportedly interested in the same striker, Eintracht Frankfurt's Randal Kolo Muani, who has scored 20 goals in 39 games this season, according to Transfermarkt. This is according to the German daily Sport 1.

Insider in transfers Jones provided a thorough update on the situation involving the three players and predicted a competitive battle between Manchester United and Bayern Munich to land their top forward targets.

"What I find interesting is how Man United and Bayern Munich are profiling the same players as their striker for next season," Dean Jones told GIVEMESPORT.

"Harry Kane, Victor Osimhen and Randall Kolo Muani are three of the main targets for both clubs and that makes for an interesting summer. It is a top priority for both clubs to sign a centre forward and it will be interesting to see who makes the first move and in which direction."

"Kolo Muani is more affordable but he’s also less proven. However, I can see Bayern still pushing for him as strongly, given he is in the Bundesliga and doing well for Eintracht Frankfurt."

"I was speaking to a contact in Germany the other day who was suggesting they are really hot on him but were not clear on whether he would move this summer. The funds involved with signing Kane and Osimhen are much more significant, but it’s a proven goal record you are paying for."

"We will get a better feel for this situation from both England and Germany soon but the number nine hunt seems like it will lead these two into battle with each other," he explained.

At this moment, it's incredibly hard to say who Manchester United should sign, but Kane stands out because he's already established himself in England.

According to Transfermarkt, the 29-year-old has scored 25 goals in 42 games this season. At the same time, Kane is only 55 goals away from surpassing Newcastle United legend Alan Shearer as the Premier League's all-time leading scorer, a distinction he will be driven to win before the end of his career.

Harry Kane would have the chance to compete for regular awards in Manchester, something that Tottenham hasn't been able to achieve recently.

Victor Osimhen has scored 25 goals so far in 2022–23 and is valued at about €100 million (£88 million) by Transfermarkt. However, a report from Il Mattino claims that he might cost as much as £150 million to sign with Old Trafford.

Kolo Muani, who is valued at €65 million (£57 million), has the ability to be the line leader for a top team, but it is unclear which path he will choose if he decides to go for a new challenge in 2023/24.

Alexis Mac Allister's Brighton exit confirmed

World Cup champion Alexis Mac Allister's future has been decided, and Manchester United is in the running to sign him.

Alexis Mac Allister will leave Brighton this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano, who claims Manchester United is interested in him. “Understand Alexis Mac Allister and his camp consider summer move as 100% guaranteed. The expectation is for an early transfer,” he stated via his official social media handle.

One of Manchester United's prospective midfield additions is Alexis Mac Allister. Brighton is reportedly seeking about £60 million, according to Argentine journalist Cesar Luis Merlo.

The Argentine international had a fantastic season and contributed to his nation's World Cup victory at the conclusion of the previous year.

The sheer number of parties interested in signing Mac Allister presents a difficulty for Manchester United.

According to The Mail and The Evening Standard, Liverpool and Chelsea are interested in speaking with him.

Mac Allister may have the benefit of playing in the Champions League with United next season, but the midfielder's desire for a "early transfer" may cause problems.

The club could be affected early in the transfer window by the ongoing drama surrounding Manchester United's proposed takeover.

A midfielder may have to wait because signing a striker is United's first priority.Mac Allister could have to wait if he wants United. Clubs that prioritize his signature may be able to steal a march in that time frame.

The league game in May and his performance this weekend versus United could determine United's desire to sign him.
