'Good News'- Fans happily reacts to Marcus Rashford's injury on Twitter

News broke from the England national team squad, and Manchester United confirmed it in an official statement on their website that attacker Marcus Rashford has been forced to be withdrawn from the national team ahead of England's two upcoming games in the international break.

The 25-year-old had already shown signs of discomfort during the Red Devils' quarterfinal clash with Fulham on Sunday evening in the Emirates FA Cup. Marcus Rashford went down in the buildup to Mitrovic's opener for Fulham and required treatment before he was able to carry on. However, he was substituted in the 83rd minute by Erik Ten Hag.

Marcus Rashford has been in sensational form in front of goal this season. Having won the club and Premier League Player of the Month Award for February, Marcus Rashford got a well-deserving international call from England coach Gareth Southgate ahead of the Three Lions' games against Italy and Ukraine in the kickoff for their Euro 2024 qualifiers. It seems the winger will rather spend the next two weeks recovering at the Carrington training center.

While it's a setback for the player and the national team, it's a huge gain on the club's side, as the player who has made over 30 goal contributions through the course of the season can now get some rest and recover ahead of the Red Devils' busy schedule in April.

Erik Ten Hag would welcome the player resting and recovering, as he has been one of the Dutch tactician's deadliest weapons this season.

Meanwhile on Twitter, a certain Man United fan made a rather surprising post about the 25-year-old injury, which has garnered positive responses from fellow Man United faithful as well.

"RASHFORD IS WITHDRAWN FROM THE ENGLAND SQUAD 💃

BLESSINGS IN DISGUISE," the alleged fan posted.

"Good news for us," one fan commented on Instagram

"Let him rest. The matches are way too much for him," another stated.

"For our own good 🥰" another wrote.

"It's great news for us Manutd fans. It's a minor knock. He needs enough time to rest. He'll be back when club football resumes," A fan commented.

"Ten Hag and mind games," another stressed.
