Manchester United's loanee, Maxi Oyedele, has hit the ground running at his loan club, Altrincham, after scoring twice in one week to help the English side win twice in the space of a few days.

Maxi Oyedele, 18, will play alongside fellow Manchester United teenagers Joe Hugill and Sonny Aljofree on a loan deal with National League side Altrincham till the end of the season.

Maxi Oyedele has started off in the best possible way, scoring twice in two games and making the difference to ensure the English National League club went on to win both.

He scored his first professional goal during Altrincham's 3-1 win over Woking last weekend, coming off the bench to score a goal. This week he has doubled his tally for them as he got rewarded with a start against Barnet. The 18-year-old sparked a comeback after he helped get an equalizer to make the scoreline 2-2 before Altrincham eventually went on to win 4-2.

Maxi Oyedele has made an excellent start to life with the English National League side, as the Polish forward is the only one amongst Joe Gill and Sonny Aljofree to have made an appearance for Altrincham.

His last two games were all as a substitute, with the game against Barnet being his first start. Altrincham's manager, Phil Parkinson, told the club's website how much confidence he has in the club's latest recruits while citing the 18-year-old Manchester United's ace as an example.

"Maxi, all these lads we believed in and brought in—it’s paying dividends.”

As for his goal, the match report read: “Oyedele turned sharply and drilled a low shot into the bottom left corner," with the midfielder’s passing also praised.

Maxi Oyedele has represented the Poland Youth Team set up and was a member of the recent Manchester United Youth Team that recorded success in the FA Emirates Youth Cup, a team that boasted of Alejandro Gernacho, Alvaro Fernández, Joe Hugill, and Kobbie Mainoo.

While the duo of Alejandro Gernacho and Kobbie Mainoo are making strides with the first team under Erik Ten Hag, Maxi Oyedele is gathering experiences from another side of the English league.

Maxi Oyedele made his Manchester United debut as a 16-year-old for the under-18 side against Bolton Wanderers in 2021. The teenager is a defender, but his vasertility has seen him lineup as a defensive midfielder. He was born in 2004 to a Polish mother and a Nigerian father; his place of birth was England.
