Liverpool and Man United eyes £89 million, Kolo Muani ahead of summer transfer window

Manchester United is reportedly targeting Randal Kolo Muani as their top striker for the summer, according to CaughtOffside. The Red Devils are in search of a true striker, and the team feels Kolo Muani is the right candidate.

With nine goals and 10 assists, the 24-year-old forward has been crucial to Eintracht Frankfurt's success this season, propelling his team to fifth place in the Bundesliga.

His ability to connect up play in the final third is highlighted by his league-leading 10 assists, and United would undoubtedly profit from having someone of his caliber.

Although Wout Weghorst, a big guy in his own right for the Red Devils, presently plays up top, the Dutchman is now 30 years old, therefore Kolo Muani might be the ideal replacement for the former Besiktas player.

L'Equipe reports that Frankfurt values their frontman at about £89 million, and it appears that Liverpool is also interested in the Frenchman. This means that the Frenchman will come at a high price.

Even though they recently acquired Darwin Nunez and Cody Gakpo, Liverpool has had a difficult season as a result of Sadio Mane's departure and Mohamed Salah's decline in form. As such, they would undoubtedly benefit from adding more players to their attack.

In form strikers, Harry Kane of Tottenham and Victor Osimhen of Napoli, who has both scored a combined 33 league goals this season, have been mentioned as alternatives for the Manchester club.
