Nottingham Forest officially approaches United for Dean Henderson as West Ham eyes 20 year old's loan move

Dean Henderson, the Manchester United goalkeeper, has received an official contact from Nottingham Forest. The goalkeeper spent the 2022–2023 season on loan with the Reds, and he is now free to switch teams permanently.

According to reporter Pete O'Rourke, Forest has moved to pursue Henderson. He still has a few years left on his Manchester United contract, and signing him may cost up to £30 million.

Henderson joined Forest before the previous season. He appeared 20 times for the Reds and recorded six clean sheets, which was the most of any goalkeeper outside of the top six at that time.

The 26-year-old has great talent as a footballer. His season ended due to a torn thigh muscle in a match against Leicester in January.

At Manchester United, Henderson is no longer needed. They lost the FA Cup Final yesterday, and the Red Devils once again questioned David de Gea's performance, who isn't in fantastic form.

Henderson might demand a big transfer fee. However, it appears as though his time at United is coming to an end, and Forest may end up picking up a bargain during the transfer period.

It would be an incredible signing. For Forest, who will put quality over quantity throughout the summer months, it would be a terrific way to open the transfer season.

Without a doubt, Forest needs a goalie. Navas has now returned to PSG, although considering his salary, it seems doubtful that he will sign a long-term contract with the team.

Henderson has previously received praise. He was referred to be "insane" by Sheffield United player Sander Berge, so it's strange that they haven't made an effort to sign him.

At United, the goalkeeper made £120,000 per week. The stopper won't be cheap, but it's hoped that Forest can negotiate the best price for him.

West Ham wants Amad Diallo

Amad Diallo, a winger for Manchester United, is reportedly wanted by West Ham United this summer on a temporary basis.

According to a story in the Northern Echo, which details Sunderland's efforts to re-sign the 20-year-old, such is the case.

In 2021, Manchester United invested £19 million on Diallo, who had since developed as one of Italy's most promising young players.

Although he had hardly ever played senior football, he generated a lot of buzz while at Atalanta.

Due to the unsatisfactory results of a loan stint at Rangers last season, he was transferred to the Championship's freshly promoted Sunderland this season.

He helped the Black Cats finish in the top six, making his time at the club a true success. It's not surprising Sunderland want him back after Rob Edwards, the manager of Luton during the play-offs, called him "an amazing" player.

West Ham, who can give Amad Diallo a chance in the Premier League and perhaps in Europe, is suddenly a rival, though.

He appears prepared to advance to professional football. He might even be kept by Manchester United for the upcoming campaign.

The forward would spend the upcoming season at the London Stadium, according to the Northern Echo's report, which claims that "West Ham are understood to be lining up a move."

Declan Rice's sale will bring in a big payday for the Hammers. Although he hasn't chosen a definitive destination yet, a number of teams are planning to sign the England international, which will only raise his worth.

West Ham already has a wide range of offensive possibilities. Following a challenging domestic campaign, players like Jarrod Bowen, Pablo Fornals, and Said Benrahma have recently demonstrated their talent.

If West Ham makes a move for Diallo, it might depend on if they anticipate any of their players leaving the club. Given that he primarily played as a winger for Sunderland, his 13 goals and three assists are outstanding numbers. But he also performs well in central roles, so his versatility may come in handy.

Other Premier League clubs, as well as Eredivisie Champions Feyenoord are also considering hiring him.

If West Ham wants to sign Diallo, they may need to make a decision early in the transfer window.
