Seria A Champion Premier League preference revealed as Onana's agent claims he is happy at Inter

Even though Andre Onana is "very happy" at Inter Milan, a meeting with Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United, at Old Trafford remains a possibility.

Both Manchester United and Inter Milan are in a shaky situation as the summer break approaches.

Until the less-than-divine ponytail and his bonehead brother decide whether or not to accept Sir Jim Ratcliffe's or Sheikh Jassim's offer, the Red Devils cannot move forward with any of their transfer targets.

As for Inter Milan, their concerns on Financial Fair Play won't be allayed by their impressive run to the Champions League final. Between now and September 1st, the Nerazzuri will continue to face pressure to sell at least one star player.

Because of this, Onana—who is content living at San Siro—could still play for Manchester United at the end of the transfer window.

We have a five-year contract with Inter. He has another four years on his contract. Now, he is focusing only on Serie A and the Champions League final,” agent Albert Botines tells Calciomercato TV.

“He still has a long contract. He’s very happy. He’s playing for the strongest team in Italy.”

At Ajax, Onana and Ten Hag won the Eredivisie together before Onana joined Inter for free in 2022. However, Gianluca di Marzio of Sky Italia reports that Chelsea and Manchester United are interested in Onana, a former Barcelona youth, who could bring Simone Inzaghi's Nerazzuri a £45 million profit.

Many United supporters might mention Diogo Costa as the first name that comes to mind. Onana, however, has the advantage of having previously collaborated with Ten Hag. In addition, he is about £20 million less expensive than Porto's goalkeeper/playmaker.

Ten Hag recently stated of Onana, "I'm convinced that he'll succeed," in April 2022.

"He is a skilled goalkeeper, as we have all witnessed."

In addition to having excellent reflexes, Onana exudes a strong sense of confidence. He therefore fits Ten Hag's preferred style of play far better than the increasingly out-of-date David de Gea.

Victor Osimhen's Premier League preference

Despite a recent trip to the French capital, Napoli striker Victor Osimhen would prefer a transfer to the Premier League. Paris Saint-Germain are interested in him.

In order to permanently lead United's assault, manager Erik ten Hag has prioritized the acquisition of a new central striker this summer. The 24-year-old is the top striker on the club's shortlist and is highly regarded by United's transfer officials.

When Napoli played Milan in the Champions League last month, United scouts were present. Although the Nigerian scored, it wasn't enough for his team to advance, but Osimhen's goals helped Napoli win their first league title in 33 years.

According to a report this week in the Naples-based Il Mattino, United are in the lead to sign Osimhen, and their interest is growing as Newcastle and Paris Saint-Germain keep an eye on the Nigerian's circumstances.

According to Napoli officials, Osimhen is diverted by Premier League clubs' interest, the article continues. There is a growing perception that Napoli will sell the player this summer, but only if they are presented with an offer that they cannot refuse.

According to RMC Sport, the Nigerian striker visited Paris earlier this month on a separate trip and PSG is genuinely interested in signing him. Although he won't completely rule out a move to the Ligue 1 winners, he prefers to play in the English Premier League.

Osimhen stated in March that playing in the Premier League was his "dream" as speculation about his heading to Old Trafford increased. According to Mirror, United has since dispatched scouts to keep an eye on the striker's performance.

"I think playing in one of the top five leagues in the world is an amazing feeling for me," the striker stated.

"A lot of people worldwide consider the Premier League as the best and the strongest league but now I'm in one of the best leagues in the world which is the Italian Serie A."

"I'm working so hard to make sure that I achieve my dream of playing in the Premier League someday but as I said, it's a process and I just want to keep on this momentum and continue to do well."

Although he may decide to extend his contract in North London, Tottenham striker Harry Kane is a well-known long-term aim. Goncalo Ramos of Benfica and Mohammed Kudus, who Ten Hag coached at Ajax, are also highly regarded. Rasmus Hojlund of Atalanta is a less expensive possibility that United is keeping an eye on.
