Man United and Arsenal target, Moises Caicedo has revealed his dream club and Champions League plans

It sounds like Moises Caicedo is eager to get out of Brighton.

Potential suitors should be suspicious when they hear remarks from a player advocating for a move before a crucial game.

On Sunday, Brighton will play United in a semi-final at Wembley, but Moises Caicedo, who is a target for Manchester United, seemed more interested in leaving the Seagulls.

The 21-year-old international from Ecuador believes joining Real Madrid is his "biggest dream" after experiencing an extraordinary breakthrough at Brighton.

Several clubs have expressed interest in Caicedo as a result of his performances, including Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal. At the close of the January transfer window, it's thought that Brighton rejected an offer from Arsenal.

Speaking to Carrusel Deportivo, he said (via The Mirror): “I like Real Madrid. It has always been my dream to play for Real Madrid.

“I’m doing things very well now, so why now join Real Madrid one day and win the Champions League? That is my biggest dream.”

Meanwhile, according to rumours from outside, Alexis Mac Allister, a midfielder for Brighton, is a target for Manchester United. According to ESPN South America, Manchester United is "closely following" the outstanding midfielder.

Arsenal and Liverpool, rivals in the Premier League, are rumored to be interested in the 24-year-old World Cup winner. Brighton have reportedly set a price of roughly £62 million (€70 million), according to Tyc Sports' Gaston Edul, who was quoted by All About Argentina on Twitter.

In the upcoming two months, Manchester United will have two opportunities to observe Alexis Mac Allister closely, one in the FA Cup semifinal and one in the Premier League.

Mac Allister, a Lisandro Martinez international teammate at United, is poised to leave Brighton after his profile rose as a result of his World Cup victory.

When Argentina won the tournament last December, the 24-year-old started six games, including the championship, and scored once. With eight goals in 24 Premier League games and two more in the FA Cup, he has had a productive season for Brighton.

Mac Allister is a capable player on both sides of the ball and might be the Frenkie de Jong alternative Erik ten Hag has been looking for. According to The Athletic, the Man United's management is looking to sign a "number 8" midfielder.

Despite the likes of Fred McTominay and Bayern Munich's loanee Marcel Sabitzer being available in the Red Devils' ranks, injured Christian Eriksen's creative onus has been unattainable, leading to a lack of creativity in the Red Devils' midfield and keeping the midfield rigid. Bruno Fernandes has been deployed to play in that role twice since Christian Eriksen's injury to help sort out the lack of creativity and dynamism in the middle of the park.

Scott McTominay is being linked with a move to Eddi Howe's Newcastle United, while Marcel Sabitzer's future with the Red Devils isn't certain, which will force the Red Devils' recruitment team to bring in another creative deep lying playmaker in the next summer transfer window.

However,United is interested in a number of Brighton players, not just him. The Sun linked forward Evan Ferguson and winger Kaoru Mitoma, and midfielder Moises Caicedo is another long-term goal.

At about £60 million, Mac Allister would be decently priced. Brighton will get a solid return on their investment if they bring in a player from Argentinos Juniors in 2019. Although Brighton has the option to extend his contract by another year, it expires in 2025.

In other news, According to reports, Manchester United is interested in signing midfielder Ruben Neves from Wolverhampton Wanderers during the summer transfer window, and his present team may agree to let him go.

According to recent sources, the Portuguese international is wanted by both United and Arsenal. Neves is reportedly attracting interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid as well.

Suggestions of this interest follow a report in the Telegraph that Wolves are preparing for life without the 26-year-old. According to the national publication, the West Midlands club would prefer to do business with an international squad and values the former Porto player at £40 million.

However, due to the "service he has given Wolves" throughout his six-year spell at Molineux, they would reluctantly agree to a deal with a team playing in the Champions League, regardless of whether they are in the Premier League.

The Telegraph also claims that if David de Gea were to become a free agent this summer, Tottenham Hotspur would not meet his salary expectations. Hugo Lloris is slated to depart Tottenham after the season, thus the north London club is looking for a replacement. The article emphasizes De Gea's limited alternatives at major European clubs after United decided not to activate the one-year term in the former Spain international's contract.

A revised agreement with lower pay is on the table. Despite rumours that the club looked at recruiting a new European goalkeeper on a free transfer during January before the player signed a contract extension, it is expected that De Gea would stay at Old Trafford. Instead, Jack Butland, a cover player, joined on a temporary loan from Crystal Palace.
