It was a reference to Fernandes playing around with the opponents for the entire 90 minutes, getting 96 touches in all.

They both performed admirably, demonstrating why they might be the Premier League's top backup defensive duo. Lisandro Martinez must live with this ailment until the end of the current season, which is difficult for any player to do.
