AS Monaco's Venderson on Man United's radar as Milan's Mike Maignan enters Red Devils list

According to RMC Sport, Monaco prospect Vanderson is the most recent player said to be on United's radar.

The 21-year-old was signed by sporting director Paul Mitchell, according to the French publication, and United are prepared to make an offer.

Right-back Vanderson of Monaco is reportedly a target for Manchester United. Despite Aaron Wan-Bissaka's strong play, Manchester United continues to be connected to a number of right-backs every day.

Being associated with Manchester United is a given for every outstanding young player, so we will continue to be somewhat dubious about this.

However, Vanderson is a fascinating player. The right-back was acquired by Monaco from Gremio in January 2021, and he has since made 56 appearances for the team.

Le 10 Sport said that while he was at Gremio, Tottenham and Brentford tried to sign him, but Monaco ultimately prevailed. He claimed to wanting to relocate to England last summer, telling Onze Mondial, "Yes. It is a goal for everyone who wants to reach the highest level of evolution.

once coached Gremio Tiago Nunes, a former Gremio coach, said in a 2017 interview with Sport that Dani Alves' skill set is similar to his. Nunes said: ““I think of the comparison with Alves, because Dani was one of the greats. Dani is a player who played on the wing, but he was also a midfielder many times. Vanderson has the quality to do that, and the physical strength to attack the space.

“Because he is direct, he has a lot of strength. He scores goals, he has potential. I see the same potential as Dani Alves.”

Monaco would expect to make a big profit on the £11 million they paid for Vanderson. He is under contract until 2027.

United have meanwhile been strongly linked to his Monaco teammate Axel Disasi, with French outlet Foot Mercato reporting the Red Devils have held talks with the centre-back’s representatives.

According to transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, full-back Jeremie Frimpong of Bayer Leverkusen is a target for Manchester United and is 'eager' on moving to Old Trafford during the forthcoming summer transfer window.

Over the past few months, the 22-year-old's name has been associated with a transfer to the Red Devils. At first, it was believed that the Dutchman may eventually succeed Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who found it difficult to play regularly for the first team during the early part of this season.

However, it was thought that Man Utd wanted to keep Wan-Bissaka and would reduce their interest in Frimpong as a result of the Englishman's recent comeback.

The Leverkusen star has been constantly linked with a move to Old Trafford before the summer transfer window, suggesting that United may be seriously contemplating signing Frimpong at the end of this campaign.

Romano said in a tweet that Man Utd and the player's agents had already been discussing a potential summer transfer and that the full-back is "keen" to work with Erik ten Hag.

The Italian journalist goes on to say that Diogo Dalot's future will not be impacted by the Frimpong transaction because United and the Portuguese have been in communication regarding a new, long-term contract, and the Red Devils are already preparing for the upcoming season with both players in the lineup.

However, Romano claims that Bayern Munich and Barcelona would provide stiff obstacles in the way of any potential move for Frimpong, as the two European powerhouses are both planning a bid for the defender.

“Jeremie Frimpong, keen on Manchester United possible move — not advanced yet as his agent met with Man Utd, FC Bayern and Barcelona. Interest in Frimpong doesn’t change the situation of Diogo Dalot at this stage as new long-term contract talks are still ongoing," Romano wrote on his Twitter handle.

More than two years are still left on Jeremy Frimpong's current deal. In order to let their top player leave this summer, Leverkusen is in a strong position to demand a high fee, and they are asking for at least £40 million.

According to recent reports, Manchester United is in a strong position to sign Frimpong and is willing to match the German club's asking price.

In spite of Wan-Bissaka's recent good performances, it seems Ten Hag isn't persuaded by his qualities. Therefore, if United sign Frimpong at the end of this season, the 25-year-old may be allowed to leave because it is quite improbable that Man Utd will keep three right backs the following year.

Man United linked with AC Milan's Mike Maignan

With his season-long performance, David De Gea has generated conflicting reactions, and Mike Maignan is a target for Manchester United.

On his best days, David de Gea is a world-class shot-blocker. His distribution abilities, though, need a lot of work. According to a report from Ben Jacobs, Manchester United is apparently looking at other goalkeepers. The 27-year-old Mike Maignan of AC Milan is supposedly on their list of transfer targets.

The French goalkeeper has firmly established himself as one of the greatest in the world, and he has excelled in both the Champions League and Serie A. Maignan will be trying to lead AC Milan to European success after helping them go to the UEFA Champions League semifinals after more than a decade.

"Jacobs told Caught Offside, “Mike Maignan is not expected to leave Milan and is healthily contracted even if he doesn’t agree to new terms, but that’s another goalkeeper Erik ten Hag rates.”

The 27-year-old has also cemented his position as his nation's top goalkeeper. The French international would unquestionably be a step up from De Gea.

The Spaniard's current deal with Manchester United expires in the summer, and he has not yet agreed to a renewal. Whether the Red Devils are willing to extend his stay at Old Trafford or sign a capable substitute with a better ceiling remains to be seen.

Dean Henderson is also a player for Manchester United. But it's anticipated that the English goalie would leave in the summer in pursuit of a regular playing role. Henderson has shown promise throughout his recent loan assignments, but at this point in his career, he needs to play frequently.

Without a doubt, David De Gea could still play a key role for Manchester United, and the club would gain from his continued presence. His winning background and leadership abilities may be extremely useful to the Manchester United team.

It's unclear whether the Red Devils will be able to persuade AC Milan to sell the star goalkeeper, despite manager Erik ten Hag allegedly having high regard for Maignan. He has a long-term contract with the Italian team, thus Milan is quite unlikely to approve his departure anytime soon.
