'Turn it down'- Man United fans are all saying the same thing about loan offers for Mason Greenwood.

Following the latest development of several clubs seeking to take Manchester United's striker Mason Greenwood on loan until the end of the season, several Manchester United fans have stated the club should turn down any offers for the 21-year-old.

Mason Greenwood was released by the Crown Prosecution Service after the charges against him were dropped on February 2, 2023. The 21-year-old was arrested for assault and coercive acts, including an attempt to control his girlfriend, Harriet Robson.

Although he has been acquitted by the CPS, however, Mason Greenwood has not returned to training with the rest of his teammates due to his ban from the club's facilities. Manchester United allegedly released a statement suggesting they will carry out an internal investigation before deciding the player's future.

The club statement read: “Manchester United notes the decision of the Crown Prosecution Service that all charges against Mason Greenwood have been dropped."

“The club will now conduct its own process before determining next steps." "We will not make any further comment until that process is complete.”

Rumors claimed the player and his representative have met face-to-face for the first time with senior officials at the club while the internal investigation has started.

The club has also started receiving loan offers from several football teams across Europe for the 21-year-old. According to the Telegraph, Turkish clubs are most interested in the England international, but they haven't made any serious moves for him yet.

Concerned fans were quick to air their discontent with the academy graduate moving away from Old Trafford as they commented under a post about whether a player's leaving on a loan stint would be beneficial to the two parties.

Daniel Evans

"Greenwood should be retained. Manchester United is lacking what he brings from that right flank. After a few training sessions with the squad, he'll regain fitness."

Solomon Acha

"Not a good move. I totally disagreed."

Manchester United's manager Erik Ten Hag has also been in touch with the 21-year-old striker; in a private phone call, the 53-year-old enquired about the player's physical and mental state but stated his future at the club depends solely on the board's decision.

Mason Greenwood's £75,000-a-week deal runs until 2025, and he made his senior team debut for Manchester United in their round of 16 Champions League tie against Paris Saint-Germain in France in 2019.
