United enters race for 19 year old defender and Marcus Thuram, as Real Madrid continues hunt for Diogo Dalot's signature.

According to MEN, Manchester United are among the group of European clubs that have shown interest in Atalanta's 19-year-old defender Giorgio Scalvini.

Giorgio Scalvini, 19, has been an integral member of Atalanta's squad that is fighting for a return to the UEFA Champions League competition next season. The Italian's 18 appearances for the Seri A side this season have been magnificent and have drawn attention from several football powerhouses in Europe, who are keeping an eye on the player's development over the course of the rest of the season.

Corriere Della Sera claimed that Manchester United are among the top clubs who are admiring the 19-year-old, but they have contenders in Chelsea, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool who are also showing interest and monitoring the defender, provided they decide to make a move for him.

Atalanta are reportedly not in a hurry to sell Giorgio Scalvini, given that his current contract runs until 2027. However, they will be willing to negotiate if they get offers that match their demands for the teenager, who is understood to be a highly rated future Italian defensive prospect.

La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid have shown interest and are ready to take Manchester United's star, Diogo Dalot, to the Santiago Bernabeu next summer.

Diogo Dalot, 23, has had a good start to the season under Erik Ten Hag after he nailed down the right back and was a regular starter. However, a couple of injuries have made him enter a tussle with a rejuvenated Wan Bissaka, who has also been in sensational form lately.

Real Madrid are reportedly playing the waiting game with the Portuguese international, whom they have identified as a replacement for Spanish right back Dani Carvajal. The right back has 18 months left on his current contract with Manchester United; however, the one-year extension clause in the 23-year-old's contract has been triggered, and there are improved positive talks regarding a new deal for the former Porto player.

A Spanish outlet claimed that Real Madrid are hunting for Diogo Dalot's signature regardless of positive news regarding the progress of penning a new contract at Old Trafford. The Spain-based club is reportedly waiting for the 23-year-old's contract to expire and signing him as a free agent, provided no agreement is reached between the player's camp and Manchester United.

Manchester United are reportedly set to rival Arsenal for the signature of Borussia Monchengladbach's striker Marcus Thuram when he becomes a free agent in the next summer transfer window.

The France international has enjoyed a stellar season with Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach. The 25-year-old has netted 17 goals and assisted another four in 21 appearances across all competitions for the German club. He was also part of the France national team that finished in second place at the 2022 World Cup tournament in Qatar.

Marcus Thuram has spent four campaigns with Borussia Monchengladbach. Calciomercota suggested that Manchester United have fellow Premier League rivals Arsenal, Newcastle United, and Chelsea to contend with for the 25-year-old's signature.
