Predictions: Manchester United's starting eleven and possible scoreline against Crystal Palace

Manchester United's hectic run of fixtures will continue when they play Crystal Palace at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon, three days after beating Nottingham Forest 2-0 in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final.

The Red Devils will want to continue their solid home form this season when Crystal Palace line up against them at Old Trafford. They are currently on a 12-game winning streak at home, keeping nine clean sheets in the process.

Manchester United had to share the spoils with Crystal Palace when they visited Selhurst Park two weeks ago. Bruno Fernandes gave Erik Ten Hag's side the lead after converting Christian Eriksen's cutback pass, but Crystal Palace Michael Olise's late free kick, blasted beyond the reach of David De Gea, means the Red Devils head back to Old Trafford with just a point.

Erik Ten Hag has challenged his side to do better when they play at Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon, as a win will be vital for them to stay in the race for a top-four finish.

The manager has confirmed that there are only three injured players in the team: Christian Eriksen, Scott McTominay, and Kevin Van De Beek. Anthony Martial and Jadon Sancho have all returned, plus new signing Marcel Sabitzer is in line for his debut. This is a boost for the manager, who now has at least wider options available for him to name a strong starting eleven against the Eagles.

Diogo Dalot has also returned to training after struggling with an injury. The Portuguese trained with the rest of the squad on Thursday.

Here is a prediction of Manchester United's possible lineup ahead of their clash with Crystal Palace at Old Trafford.

Defense

David De Gea could make a return to the starting lineup after being rested against Nottingham Forest. Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez will retain their places at center back, while Wan Bissaka and Luke Shaw start at full back.

Mid field

Casemiro should retain his place in the midfield alongside Fred. Sabitzer will have to wait for his debut later in the game. Bruno Fernandes will be in his traditional attacking role in the middle.

Attack

Marcus Rashford will return to the starting lineup after being rested against Nottingham Forest. Wout Weghorst will lead the attack, as Erik Ten Hag will surely not want to rush things with Anthony Martial. Antony Santos will start on his usual right side of Manchester United's attack.

Prediction

Man United 4-0 Crystal Palace
