Manchester United will return to the Premier League to face Brendan Rodger's Leicester City on Sunday at Old Trafford. The Foxes are in 13th place on the Premier League table after spending most of the season at the bottom, closer to the relegation zone.
They have recorded back-to-back wins in their last two games, including a 4-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, and have scored eight goals in the process. They will be looking to get one over Erik Ten Hag's men after losing 2-1 at Kings Power Stadium in the first leg of the encounter back in September.
Leicester City's manager Brendan Rodgers has confirmed that the trio of Youri Tielemans, James Madison, and Boubakary Soumare will be available for the Premier League game against the Red Devils on Sunday.
The duo of Lisandro Martinez and Marcel Sabitzer will return to the matchday squad after missing out on the 2-2 stalemate against Barcelona in the Europa League as a result of card accumulation. However, Casemiro will serve the last of his three-match ban on Sunday, so he is expected to be out of the lineup.
The trio of Anthony Martial, Scott McTominay, and Antony Santos is in doubt for the Sunday clash. Man United will be aiming to continue their hunt for a return to the Champions League when they welcome the Foxes to Old Trafford.
Marcus Rashford will also look to get more goals after he matched his best goalscoring season tally (22) on Thursday following his goal against Barcelona in the Europa League. The 25-year-old has scored in 13 of the 16 games he has played since the restart of domestic football.
Erik Ten Hag will certainly make changes to his starting lineup in a bid to keep players fresh for Barcelona's visit to Old Trafford for the second leg of the Europa League tie. He will be aiming to solidify their grasp on third place while awaiting their rivals to drop points.
Since November 10th, Manchester United have lost just once in the league and drawn four times. They recorded victories in the rest of the Premier League games.
Possible lineup
Defense
Tom Heaton should be given the nod while David De Gea rests ahead of Thursday's game. Harry Maguire will be expected to return to the starting lineup along with Victor Lindelof, while Diogo Dalot and Tyler Malacia line up at fullback.
Mid field
Marcel Sabitzer will start along side Fred, except if the manager decides to start either Zidane Iqbal or Kobbie Mainoo, but the Dutch tactician is not likely to take such a risk.
Erik Ten Hag will also want to start Wout Weghorst in the midfield again on Sunday.
Attack
Bruno Fernandes will probably start on the right wing while Alejandro Gernacho starts on the left, with Marcus Rashford spearheading the attack.
