Manchester United predicted lineup as they face Leeds United at Elland Road in Sunday Premier League clash

Manchester United will face Leeds United in their next league game on Sunday after the Whites came close to causing an upset at Old Trafford during their midweek clash.

Erik Ten Hag's side had to come from 2-0 down to rescue a point. Thanks to Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho's goals, the Red Devils had to settle for a point and still linger close to falling out of the top four of the Premier League table.

They missed the services of Antony Santos, Scott McTominay, and Anthony Martial during their Wednesday night game, and the trio have already been declared unavailable again for the repeat of the fixture at Elland Road by Erik Ten Hag.

“I don’t expect [them to be fit]. "We have some days, obviously, but I don't expect them,” Ten Hag told reporters at his pre-match press conference.

“If I can oversee it from now on, I don't see any new problems coming up.”

Erik Ten Hag also added that the trio is even less likely to play in Barcelona next Thursday, when the Reds resume our Europa League campaign: “I think the same answer; I can’t say for 100 percent, but I don’t expect it.”

"With the injuries, if you see Christian Eriksen, you can't see that as an impact from the tough season, but it definitely is a tough season with the World Cup in between and a lot of overload for the players,” he added.

“That process is already long-term; going on, the load on the players is too much.”

It is yet to be decided if Wan Bissaka will be fit for the Sunday trip to Elland Road after the 25-year-old missed out on the Wednesday game due to illness. Diogo Dalot, however, filled in for the England international and impressed. Casemiro will serve his second match ban but will be available for the Red Devils' Europa League tie against FC Barcelona.

Erik Ten Hag could be forced to make changes to his starting lineup after Leeds United almost got a victory against his team at Old Trafford. Manchester United could lineup in this way.

Defense

David De Gea will retain his place between the sticks, Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez will continue at the center of the defense, while Tyler Malacia and Diogo Dalot share full-back duties.

Mid Field

Fred and Marcel Sabitzer retain their places in the middle, while Bruno Fernandes plays in an advanced role.

Attack

Jadon Sancho should earn his first start after getting back on the scoresheet and impressing. The 22-year-old would be expected to start on the right wing in Antony's absence. Alejandro Gernacho should be given another starting berth on the left wing, while Marcus Rashford will start in the striker's position.
