Football World supports Jadon Sancho following emotional Instagram post

When Jadon Sancho made his return to social media, he sent an emotional message to Manchester United supporters, and his teammates and other prominent football people showed their support.

The last 27 minutes of United's Carabao Cup semifinal second-leg victory over Nottingham Forest at Old Trafford on Wednesday night saw Sancho, 22, make his first United appearance in more than three months. He was called up from the substitutes' bench. For those attending the game and those spectating from a distance, it was a welcome sight.

Throughout the winter, Man United was without the quick-footed ex-Borussia Dortmund player as he needed time away from Carrington for personal reasons. When Sancho returned to the field, Erik ten Hag graciously afforded him that absence and they enjoyed a heartfelt moment.

Sancho took time away from the team to focus on his physical and emotional health, and when he returned, he did so with a carefully crafted personalized program. In the future, it is anticipated that would allow the England international to flourish and realize all of his potential for the Red Devils.

After taking a hiatus from social media, Sancho is back on Twitter and Instagram and has posted for the first time since November to indicate the next move. He thanked followers for their support in a statement that was shared on both accounts.

Adding fingers crossed and love heart emojis, the Londoner said: "Wow! Just want to say a massive thank you to everyone for the support I've received over these past few weeks especially to the fans. My focus is to give my all to my team and the club, I'm so happy to be back out on the pitch, see you soon."

The 22-year-old athlete posted those words along with a clip from the game versus Forest in which he returned to the field, with Ten Hag and the player enjoying a heartfelt moment. Some well-known names have contacted him in addition to receiving 300,000 likes and countless answers to that post inside an hour.

Colleagues from United including Anthony Martial, Marcus Rashford, and Lisandro Martinez have messaged him. Along with Jack Grealish, Vinicius Jr., and countless others from the international arena, notes have also been delivered by Dortmund prodigy Jude Bellingham and Manchester City forward Erling Haaland.
