(Video) £107 million Napoli's Victor Oshimen has refused to rule out exit amid Man United's interest

Napoli's striker and this season's Seria top scorer Victor Oshimen has voiced his opinion regarding interest from top European leagues following his sensational form in the Italian league this season.

The 24 year old Nigerian has been a revelation in the Seria A this season as he is one of the catalysts behind Napoli's hunt for their first Seria A trophy in the last 33 years.

The record-breaking striker reached 100 Seria A goals last weekend; he has beaten the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo, as he needed just 197 games to achieve this feat. He is also the only Napoli player to score in consecutive Seria A games since 1995. Victor Oshimen has found the back of the net in 17 straight Seria A games for Napoli.

Victor Oshimen is a £107 million transfer target heavily linked to Erik Ten Hag's Manchester United, who are seriously in a hunt for Cristiano Ronaldo's replacement after the ex-Juventus and Real Madrid man got his contract terminated last November and joined Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr.

The Nigerian international has refused to rule out an exit from the Seria A side at the end of the season; however, he is currently focused on the team's goal of coveting this season's Seria A title.

"When you are doing so well, top clubs around the world are watching, mostly in the top five leagues," Osimhen told ESPN.

"And to be able to attract interest from these top clubs shows that I am doing great, and it gives me the motivation to do even more for myself and my team." But I am focused on Naples right now, and they have the final say. I just want to help my team to win matches and win trophies."

"At the end of the season, we will see what is going to happen, but that is not up to me." "It is for the club to decide," he explained.

Napoli's top scorer in Seria A this season is one of the best forwards currently in Europe, alongside Manchester United's ace Marcus Rashford. He has racked up 19 goals and 4 assists in 23 outings for Napoli. 18 of those goals are in Seria A, which makes him the league's current top scorer; however, Victor Oshimen is not all about personal achievements as he is more concerned with the team's progress.

"Being the highest goal scorer is actually not my main priority." "The team comes before my personal ambition," he added.

"If I win it, that's fine, but what I want to do is try to win trophies with my team." "As long as the team is winning, it doesn't matter to me who gets the goals or whether I win top scorer or not."

According to the Daily Mail, Manchester United have launched a £107 million bid for the 25-year-old while they are still competing for Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane on one side.

They however face fierce competition from Chelsea, as new owner Todd Boehly is reportedly interested in taking Victor Oshimen to Stamford Bridge as the Blues look to continue their spending spree.

Erik Ten Hag, in the wake of Cristiano Ronaldo's exit late last year, stated Manchester United would sign a new striker when they found one that ticked all the boxes and would fit the team's project. They successfully brought in Wout Weghorst from Burnley on a loan deal after Anthony Martial kept struggling with fitness issues.
