"They have been a big part"- Bruno states how Raphael Varane, Casemiro have impacted the team as leaders

Bruno Fernandes has indicated how several newcomers at the club have impacted the team's dressing room with their various leadership skills and mindset.

A lot of changes have taken place at Old Trafford since Erik Ten Hag took over the helm of affairs as manager. The Dutch tactician made four major signings upon his appointment before making another set of reinforcements in the last winter transfer window.

Raphael Varane, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, and Bruno Fernandes are notably the forces to reckon with in Manchester United's revival under Erik Ten Hag, not to forget the impact of Tyler Malacia and the resurgent Jadon Sancho.

Bruno Fernandes, in an interview with Rio Ferdinand on BT Sport, explained how several of the new arrivals have impacted the team's dressing room with their presence and also praised them for their contributions to the team's success on the pitch.

"Obviously, he [Casemiro] is a player that can find the passes and at the same time cover a lot of space in behind,” Fernandes told Rio Ferdinand in BT Sport's Between the Lines. “He gives you the freedom to go higher and take more risks, to make runs into the box because you know you'll be covered by him."

"But at the same time he's adding goals and assists by being in the right positions; he has a great mentality. Even if he doesn't speak English very well, he can talk to people in a football way and help everyone." "He's been a really good part for us and improved our team," Bruno explained.

"More than that, he improved everyone who plays in that position because it makes you want to push yourself a little bit more, and having Casemiro, who has won many big trophies with Real Madrid, makes you understand there's still a long way to go."

The Portuguese international also acknowledged the contributions of defensive duo Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane, analyzing how Varane's calmness but notable presence in the dressing room has helped.

"His desire and passion are there, as you see with Licha Martinez. Rapha [Varane] is a little bit more calm but still has a big voice in the dressing room. He’s someone you can rely on, but when he has to talk and do his part, he does really well."

"They're a big part of how we've been improving because we have more leadership in the group, more people who are not afraid to tell people things when they have to because sometimes it can be seen in the wrong way."

"Sometimes you need to shout at your teammates because that's the way football is, and to push them to be at their best, you need to do that," Bruno Fernandes stated.

Former Manchester United striker Robbin Van Persie visited the Carrington training center a few days ago and was blown away by the settings behind the scenes at the club.

Robin van Persie on Manchester United: "The whole energy around the club is so much more positive than it used to be in the last few years." So that is like, Erik earns credit for that, but the players as well. "Everyone earns credit."

"I can feel that something is brewing at Manchester United," he explained.
