Rio Ferdinand advises Marcus Rashford on how to become a more horrible player to play against

Manchester United's ace and England international Marcus Rashford has been in a sensational form and his having one of the best season as a Red Devils player. The academy graduate has once again shown how dangerous he can be when with the ball.

However, former Manchester United's defender Rio Ferdinand has however, emphasized on one flaw in the 25 year old's game. Marcus Rashford has banished the demons of last campaign when he scored just 5 goals across all competitions. This season he has 21 goals with 6 assists, that includes 13 goals in the last 15 appearances for Man United.

Rio Ferdinand has however advised the Man United's attacker to focus more on his movements as he strives to attain the World class status sooner.

"If I’m a defender sometimes I look at him and he can make it easy for defenders at some points in the game if he offered the threat in behind a bit more he’d get more joy to feet and become the threat in behind still," Rio stated on his Vibe with FIVE podcast.

"His decision making on whether to come long or short, if he gets that he becomes even more of a horrible player to play against."

Rio Ferdinand also stressed that the number 10 needs to be more involved in the Red Devils build ups rather than always waiting for perfect moments .

"I think there’s more of the dominace over 90 minutes that he can bring where he’s bringing other people into the game because you know he’s got the passing," Rio explained.

"We saw that last season, even when he was out of form there were still elements where you were saying ‘wow’. He can produce a pass and put people through on goal of there are runners."

"Once he starts getting that synergy with other people in the team he’ll be able to pick out players more. He can take over a game."
