What Manchester United did to Juan Mata was criminal. He could be on par with David Silva over a lengthy period at the top, but he went to United and got dashed on the wing, sat on the bench, and rubbed out by managers.

He has been an excellent servant to United. Nobody has a bad word to say about him. Yet there was a sense of 'what could have been about him.
At 25, the decision to go to Manchester United might be one of the worst ever.
